1986 Engine trouble I think

Ok well I have a 1986 Ranger V6 4x4 auto

Well Hopefully some can give me advice

Well we were on the highway doing about 60 now nothing ever went wrong with the truck before untill this so we were driving then is fell like it was dropped in speed then the engine stared to shake real bad the the truck was going back and fourth repeatedly
then is smoked and died

Now it has been sitting since 2005 and only goes 20Mph we also put a new value in

So if some one coulkd give me some advice Thanks

If this is in the wrong space sorry

did the engine kinda bog down? has the transmission been shifting roughly? have you checked your fuel delivery and electrical system?
