I have a chance to buy 93 2.3L 2WD 5 speed for $700. I am worried about the milage. It shows 37000 but carfax showed 85000 in 1996 so i don't know if it has 137000 or 237000. Also is it normal for the clutch pedal to take hold when it is almost at top of the travel. Thanks

 

my clutch grabs almost right off the floor... that clutch might be worn out...if that is the only thing wrong with it id say its a good deal

 

Not sure about the mileage, but in my '97 the clutch was like that the whole 5 years I owned it.

 

i thought ford changed to a 6 digit odometer in 93 but i guess not

 

nope on the odometer and if everything works good and it runs good a clutch job is like 1 1/2 hr job
