will an 3.0 engine from a 2 wheel drive automatic 2003 ranger swap out into a 1998 4x4 3.0. Anything i should watch out for here? I k ow I’ll have to keep the flywheel from my current engine and there’s maybe a bushing on the crank the the other engine may not have . But other then that will it just plug in and go?

Current engine has 263000 miles but still runs good, no leaks or burning oil,just getting another engine to have incase and getting everything under the hood for 400 bucks so could t go wrong i guess. Newer engine has 110 000 kms what ever that is in miles just thought it was worth buying

any tips on the swap would be appreciated
