2.9L HEATING UP PROBLEM

HI MY NAME IS TOMMY I'M NEW TO THIS SITE AND I'M LOOKING INTO BUYING A 1987 RANGER 4X4 AUTO IT HAS THE 2.9L AND RUNS REAL NICE WHEN COLD BUT WHEN U TAKE IT DOWN THE ROAD ONCE IT GETS TO NORMAL OPERATING TEMP IT ACTS LIKE IT'S LOADING UP. THE GUY CUT THE EXHAUST IN FRONT OF THE CAT TO C IF IT WAS CLOGGED BUT NO DIFFERENCE . HE REPLACED THE IAC,PLUGS,WIRES,CAP,ROTOR AND CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT ITS REALLY CLEAN SO I WANT IT BUT I DON'T WANNA BUY A TRUCK I HAVE TO PUT A ENGINE IN SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP AT ALL I Greatly appreciate it

I tryed the map sensor,tps im getting 39psi at the fuel rail. I hooked up spark testers and its getting fine spark when idleing but when reved it gets weak it has new coil and plugs wires cap and rotor any ideas
