New brake solenoid not working. Number one pin hot when brake applied. Two pin nothing third pin hot all the time. When steeping on brake truck running solenoid hanging loose does nothing. All three wires from solenoid run into ignition switch ( White box under steering column) Second new solenoid still nothing. IDK what the middle pin is for unless it's a ground wire. Test were done while truck was running. This is why truck is stuck in park, it still should still work unbolted from the column? Any ideas? When steeping on brake button should suck in releasing the latch doing nothing. Any ideas or help please?

Welcome to the forum
Brake solenoid??
If you have an automatic transmission there is a Shift Interlock Solenoid on underside of steering column, that is pulled closed when you step on the Brake so you can shift out of PARK

I think the 2 outside wires should be Grounds, and the center wire should have 12volts when brake pedal is pushed down
