Hi to everyone, I 'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone has advice on using a trailer hitch motorcycle carrier with the stock hitch from ford on a 2010 Xlt 4 door with the 4.0 v-6 , auto trans, the carrier and bike I have will be close o the 350 max tongue rating of the hitch but not over, will it be ok, I will be driving rough logging type roads at times and I'll go easy, anyone else doing this and how is it working out. Thanks!

 

If the hitch is rated for 350lbs tongue weight and your carrier + motorcycle totals 350lbs or less you will be fine.
Trailers will exert higher than 350lbs when going over bumps as well, so that factor is included, the 350lbs is maximum static load.
