3.0 motor swap to 3.0
Hey guys I’m getting ready to do a motor swap in a 98 ranger to another 3.0 that came from another 98 ranger. Just wondering what all I would change other than the obvious valve cover gaskets, thermostat, water pump ect.

I would also replace Rear Main seal while engine is out, cheap part and hard to change if it leaks after engine is installed
If its an automatic transmission vehicle, and its your first time, make sure torque converter is installed on to the transmissions input shaft correctly before mating bellhousing and engine, or you WILL destroy the transmission, total rebuild required.
I learned the hard way 40 years ago about this, lol, so just a heads up
