So i think my rear end is going cuz it whines when im driving. I already changed the lube not to long ago. Im not sure how long its been making the noise because i had my exhaust off for about a year. How much am i looking at to get a 31 spline unit? I found one on ebay but the guy wants $818 for it. Sounds high to me. Get and explorer one and modify it. Lots of them around.

Of course it does have the Torsen diff. That's worth probably 300 to 400 isn't it?

 

i got my disc explorer axle picked up for 250 ive got bout 300 in it..and its build..

LS, new rotors, re-lugged rotors, axle shafts..everythin minus gears..

 

yeah i knew he wanted too much. the thing with the explorer axle is modifying it. i cant weld. i have a buddy that can but he doesnt have a welder.

 

oh and i dont care about the limited slip because i would throw a locker into it
also im not sure what i want to do with the truck. i might sell it and i might keep it. i wanted the 31 spline just in case i keeped it but if i didnt, at least the problem is solved

 

i payed $100 for my 95 sploder rear.. and got zabeard's for $50 his is a 91 tho

 

i paid 80$ for an expo rear end with disc brakes ! i WIN

lol i picked mine up at a local JY found 2 one with 373 and one with 327..one was 80$ the other like 77$ haha diff JY both times ..suckers..probably some more there now !

 

No, Only the FX4 L2 has Torsen as far as i know.......

 

I'll visit some junk yards this weekend and see what i find. and time so find a friend that can weld
