Headlamp Lighting

Ok i hear everyone talking about silverstars.
What about these other light off ebay???
Should i go with a 9007 55/60 watt bulb or a 9007 100/90 bulb?
Or are the silverstars the best?

No link to the lights you are talking about. I have been pleased with Silverstars. If you are going to "upgrade" your bulbs, stay with the recommended wattage or you will fry your wiring.

If you are going for effectiveness, at night the silverstars are awesome. They have a nice white beam and really light up the road ahead of you. But if you want something for "looks" as well, silverstars look like an ordinary bulb unless its really dark out. So if you wanted the look of HID or Blue or something during the day, do not get silverstars.

Any late 90's or newer ranger is not equiped with wiring to handle 100 watt lamps. You will have to stick the lower/stock wattage. Go with Silverstarts or Xtravision bulbs. All the rest are a joke.

Not to mention the fact of the legality of anything over 55watt for normal usage and 65watt when not within 500ft of another vehicle. DOT laws, for halogen lighting anyhow.

upgrading your factory harness to something like www.suvlights.com sell also helps, even with factory bulbs you will notice slightly more light output.

Nice! Let us know what you think once the sun goes down =]

You should've done the silverstars and checked the brightness, then installed the harness and rechecked. I dunno, I'm just a mad scientist that way I guess.
