97 ranger middle console problem!

97 ranger middle console problem!

Is their an easy way to get these 3 screws out?

I used a little screwdriver from a wood construction we bought but a way you could get them out is take the bit out and put the bit on and use some clamps vice grips or something to twist the bit giving you plenty of room to unscrew it, I never rescrew it back in lol just one screw ha

also if your going to try the vicegrip thing way you push presure against the bit with your finger so it doesnt pop out why your turning i guess wrench would work also any way you can grip the bit from the upward direction

I would just drill holes in the plastic where the screws are

There may be screws beneath that fuzzy carpet thing at the bottom of the tray. If so, they should be what holds that whole plastic tray in the console. Removing the tray will give you access to the screws for the lid/armrest. That carpet thing may be glued on, so it may not come out without a little fight.
