alternator out after bl

alternator out after bl

so i finished my bodylift and i was driving around and my battery died. i had my batter tested and it is my alternator that is not working. does anyone know what could have happened to it during the bodylift??

My guess would be that nothing happened to it. It is probably just coincidence that it happen to go out after the BL.

Nothing in the body lift would affect the alternator unless you played with stuff unrelated to the BL... probably just a coincidence... maybe showed up cause you disconnected the battery? Assuming you did that of course...

yup i agree with the others. a key got stuck in the ignition in my old 87 dodge dakota and once i got that out, it just happend that the starter went too like the day i got the key out.

Whats that ground that bolts into the engine block? I know my pa bl came with an extension for it. I believe that has something to do with the battery or alternator. If anyone knows what Im talking about.

lol get over it, im on my 4th alt in like 2 years.....its not a good habit, but i know when its the problem lol
