Any clues as to what this is?


Was changing the bulbs of my instrument cluster today and came across this. Since I've had my ranger i have had no idea what it is or what it does, anyone know or have a clue?

It is connected to relay (shown above) if that helps.

Does the 4x4 electric shift work?

Not factory, of course

Yes the stock electric shifter works. I think I'm going to replace the relay and see if it turns on.

Miniaturized version of the Flux Capacitor. Instead of using a Mr Fusion for power, it now uses 12 volt via the relay..
Try going ahead 5 - 10 years and see what type of trucks Ford is turning out !!!
