Kicker Sub
I recently bought a Kicker 10" Powered Subwoofer Enclosure PT250 BassStation for my 1997 Ranger. I hooked it all up, the polarity is correct, and when I turned on my stereo and all, it didn't really work. The red power light flashes occasionally, but that's it. Anyone have any troubles with this or can anyone help me? Please?

How is it connected to the "radio"?
It can either be connected to the back of the "radio" using "Line Level" outputs.
OR
It can be connected to "Speaker Level" outputs.
There is a switch on the side that is labelled "Input Level", Hi or Low
Hi is for speaker level, low for line level.
Example:
CD player=====(line level)======Amplifier=====(speaker level)======Speakers

The ground is connected to my jack bolt. I pulled the jack out and used that bolt that holds it in as the ground. (I put 2 nuts on it and put the ground wire in between the two nuts)
The wiring is connected directly to my existing rear speakers. I've got the switch on Hi. But still nothing. Should I by pass the rear speakers all together?

You should have a subwoofer outputon your Headunit. The sub being hooked up to the rear speakers is why it's barely working.
On my truck I have the woofer hooked into the woofer RCA SUB output on the stereo and the bass to the regular speakers completely off.

If the rear speakers are working then the sub should be as well.
The sub level would be controlled by the Fader, so if rear speakers are turned down then sub would be as well.
No, don't remove any speakers from the system, subs are for low frequencies only you "feel" them more than "hear" them
If your "radio" has Subwoofer OUT on the back then it would be worth running wires to hook the sub up to that output.
