It all depends where you live and how much you shade it. My tails only have 3-4 coats on them and I had no problem passing inspection or anything. But mine aren't that dark.

 

If your truck is still doing the 40mph jolt, try refukulating the carbinator.

 

The best mods take very little money, and alot of skill. You can make a fully LED cluster for less than that 30$.

well make shure you check your bumper fluid. if it gets low it will sheer the brass line going to the axle to the trans, making yor blinkers go doubble time.
