Dude, I really like your truck, even if it is mostly stock. Although it is unfortunate the state that it is in right now.

I think the new Sport Tracs are just plain badassery. 4.6L V8, IRS/IFS, 4dr., and it's got a bed just in case you need to haul something...

I don't know anything about the price of such a machine... but it's worth looking into. They are awesome stock and you can even upgrade it just a little with some luxo-mods...

the '07 Sport Trac's i looked at were Limited models, had the v8, and every option....it had a sticker of $34,000.......the XLT 4.0 models i looked at had a sticker of $27,000 with all the options a XLT could have....

and with the 4.6L you would also have a nice tow rig if you needed to pull a trailer.......more than enough power for a Explorer!

we towed our 1,100lb trailer with our 3,500lb Model A ford with our 4.0L explorer with 4.10 gears all the time it was fine just needed to take off overdrive most the time when it wasnt flat, our 4.6L with the same load with 3.55 gears pretty much pulls it fine even in OD... so yes it is better

Beemers and mercedes are cool, but just not me..Its ford, and its got a bed..

my advice.. grab one of those coronas,..sit back and write an ad..sell it to a kid with just enough money and the urge to own his(or her) very first vehicle. then go pic up something fun and sleek and shiny and roll up to the clubs and pimp the beezies..
I have a dinstinct feeling that our defenitions of classy are somewhat different. But how bout a new charger..all blacked out?? could be fun eh?

same thoughts here and like lifted97 said also the sport traks are very nice my gf mother just got a 05 one i think and i love it very smooth and every option!.

just take a look at (04lvl2) vehical i thinkm its his mothers but any who i hope u dont mind me showing this :)
but once i saw this sport track i really wanted one and i still do!!!!

I would hate a 4X4 even more just more crap to break! I wouldnt mind a 4.0 but it would not change my mind about the truck needless to say when I pay it off in a couple months it will be GONE!

Another option to consider... A Harley F150... 4 door, a bed, towing abilities, tons of room, classy and a real nice ride.

Maybe you should look into picking up an older, inexpensive vehicle and restore/modify it to your liking. That way your time will still be used, and your boredom with the Ranger won't matter so much. That is how things have worked out for me after buying my Bronco, and so far it has worked out well.

My pops drives a `06 Adrenaline, so I know about the sport tracs! I do like it alot, but my main thing is I want handling. I hate going around a corner at 30 and feeling scared because of the amount of body roll. ugh. I would be perfectly content with the Ranger if I could get a project vehicle, but I have nowhere to park it/work on it we just had to add an extra paved spot at my house so I could fit my truck and In suburbia there just isnt much room to add.

the 2 main car's I'm considering are the WRX and the mercedes C230, both are 4 door sedans but are really sporty. I want something that will retain value and come with a certain amount of respect. It may be a ways off, but I only owe about 2500 on my truck and could pay that off in a second if I wanted to but my loan still has 2 years left. I dunno if I'll be satisfied with the truck for another 2 years. It would be alot easier if I could find a damn explorer center console ( been without any armrest for about a year now :(... )
