Your engine is mildly modified, you have no need for an upgraded radiator.

I understand what you're thinking, but its the same thing as buying 93 octane gas for a stock motor.. just throwing money away.

sorry wowak but i disagree. maybe not on the new rangers but on the fullsizes they radiators are adaquet for cooling. add A/C and a little outside heat and it barely does the job. i vote find a different radiator from auto zoo. they carry modine and u can get a 2 core (not sure if ur stock one is one core or 2) and they are high quality with a lifetime warrenty. make sure u flush the cooling system, add the proper coolant mix and u should have years and years of trouble free driving (make sure to flush the coolant every 2-3 yrs as well)

still, go to autozoo or advanced and ask for a modine radiator, very nice units.

im tellin ya autozoo or advanced can get a modine...i think one for mine is $150 so urs should be the same or slightly less. install it urself and save some mucho $$ spend it on a set of e-fans.

oh and if repaired radiators scare me...unless its a temp repair

Go ahead and get the upgraded radiator, especially if you have an automatic. It'll pay off in the long run. Cooler running trucks are happy trucks.
