Sweet, I went to the Ford dealer yesterday, they had 08 F150 crew-cabs for $18,000. They looked like an XL, but I did see some Explorers and they were like 17k...the prices were painted on the windshields. Looks like there are some good prices out there right now. I looked at a F150 Fx4, The dealer said they would give me $9,000 for my truck...I was shocked, but I dont want any F'ing payments anymore. It was hard to leave after that amount they offered, but I did...lol Salesman has called me twice already this morning..lol

I had a Mountaineer...a 1998 and it was a great vehicle. The 302 under the hood certainly helped shape that opinion, but you'll be fine in an Explorer. The new ones are very well done, it appears. Still nothing like 1995-2001, though.

I've had both. At the end of the day I'll keep a pickup for my sanitiy!

Having a pickup IMO just fits for a family guy.
Shoot.. I have 2 at home still. (4 people total) And guess what.. they don't like to take the truck for long trips.
