Umm... why? I guess you could pull your gauge cluster out and remove the bulb?

because it keeps coming on i got it checked it turned out to be a pressure release valve nothing serious my truck runs fine. and check engine light also came on because of my cut outs so i got one of those eliminators and it turned off for a couple days now it is back on. Its driving me nuts. Why the hell do i need it anyways i will drive it till it breaks down.lol.

do you have to have a yearly emmisions test run on your truck?

if you want to perminently disable it, your best bet is to take a bulb from somewhere, and hook it up to a ridiculiously high voltage, or do something to burn it out, then put the burnt out bulb in the CEL bulb's place, the reason for this, if you ever sell your vehicle, and the new owner finds the light was removed, you can be sued (or so i am told) where as if a bulb burns out, you can claim you didn't know...

i just wouldnt go messing with the emissons system on your truck...if something really bad does go wrong how would you know? i would just either fix the reason its on or just keep driving and reseting it
