So, my roomate is a chevy guy, always has been. He pisses me off like crazy day after day. Anytime anything vehicle or auto related comes up weather its just me and him or were at a party or dinner or whatever, even on xbox live, he has to crack jokes and say how much ford sucks and how much chevy is better. Constantly is going over the whole fixed and repaired daily, and a whole bunch others. I try saying to hhim well there is no part that will no break on a chevy that will on a ford. He always brings up some inncident where ford put on tires that they knew were bad a while ago ad caused a whole bunch of accidents or something.
What can I do or explain to make him shut his *** up?!?!
Or at least what can I say when hes talking **** in front of a whole bunch of people saying how i have a ****ty ford ford *** ford blows bla bla bla...

 

well if he is talking S10 then i think it's time for a tug of war!! but probably not....is he talking the 350? just find some videos and show him.!

 

tell him he needs to find something else to do to compensate for having a tiny dick.

i can name a few instances where my ranger took a hell of a lot more beating than a chevy.

 

He has a lifted chevy 1500 late 90s i think the z71 or whatever with 33s on some sick rims and dual flowmaster its sick

It pisses me off too because he babys the hell out of his truck, he only drives it on weekends and it has never seen dirt, although at partys he always claims that he goes wheeling all the time. My jeep saw some serious mudding and he used to park at the entrance of trails and hop in with me.

 

GTO is a muscle car made by Pontiac. Was once the competitor to the Ford Mustang. Sales stumbled, they cut the car from production. Recently, Pontiac reinvented the car, imagine a Ford Fusion on steroids so to speak....that would be its competition.

Im a GMC guy. Same as chevy though. I would mess with his truck. Nothing that is harm full just like zip ties, rocks in center caps, weights taped to the drive shaft, once you get him good enough I would think he would stop. Or start into a war.

 

How about GM's poor quality standards? Cheap materials, paint defects...anyone remember the Beretta/Tempest? Paint would start peeling off as soon as you drove off the lot.

Handle it with knowledge, and save it for a time when a hot girl is around when you are out. Make him look like a fool in public, then he'll shut up. Like my roomate. I did that to him, no problems since.

 

All I know is, All my parents have had is ford, and they hardly ever break down. While We have family and friends that drive chevy's and they spend all their time in the shop.

Also, at autoshop at school, all we have come in are GM vehicles praticly, the few fords that come in get fixed and we wont ever see it again, while we see the same chevy cars and trucks with new problems every week.

 

Every car has problems. Some more than others.
