Clutch Problem
Clutch Problem
Hello
Clutch problem 2003 Ranger 3.0, 320,000 miles. Have had clutch problems since 65,000 miles related to air in the clutch system. The clutch currently as about 50,000 miles on it. Most recently I replaced the clutch master cylinder with a pre bled system worked for a couple weeks then would get air in the system and not be able to shift. I then took out the master cylinder and bench bled it according to a video on the computer. Again, worked for a couple weeks then and again be came almost impossible to shift. If I bleed the clutch slave cylinder four times it works like new for a week and then after another week it progressively gets air in the system. I have looked in the trans inspection hole and I do not see any fluid and there is never an ounce of fluid loss in the clutch master cylinder container. I know it is a bad system but any help would be appreciated. Thanks Robert
