Crankshaft sensor
Have a 86 Ranger 2.3 with 5 speed. I cannot locate crankshaft sensor anywhere. I just see a sensor that goes in side of block on drivers side.

Welcome to the forum
1986 2.3l will have a distributor, so no Crank sensor
Crank sensors were only used on distributorless engines, on a 2.3l SOHC that was 1989 and up
