turns out the guy driving the bmw is an old "friend" a manager from my last job... know him well enough he wasn't going to **** a brick about it, he was mature enough to realize it is what it is... there was an accident just around the corner, and this was just after it happened... so i'm going to try to see if the police will deem it as a chain reaction... in addition to the above, there was a big patch of black ice, although i'm not entirely sure how black ice forms at -28* (it hasn't been warmer than -10 for about 4-5 days) and this is a major thurofare... saw everybody stopping, and pulling to the shoulder not to rear-end other people... i would have done the same, except there was nowhere for me to go... i tried to squeeze between the car i hit and the one to my right, but it didn't work...

there were no injuries... my back is a little sore, but i don't think it's from anything other than sleeping funny, or snowboarding last week... but we will see how it feels tomorrow...

have to go talk to the police after work, and get ahold of a claims adjuster, apparently in this type of accident, on top of being atfault, people in my situation usually get charged with following too closely, i will go in, in uniform, and hopefully i will not have that problem, but we will see...

i should add, i was wanting to put the earlier style bumper on, the flat bottomed one, with no valance, and the earlier, honney comb grill, so, silver lining? it's a debate if i want to fix it myself, and pay out of pocket, and probably not fix it all properly, OR get my insurance to put it all back to stock, and then change it all afterwards... i doubt they will put those items on for me...

i think one piece that is going to be problems is my skid plate, i don't know if it can be repaired, or if they will replace it... it will be hard to find a replacement, i'm thinking though...

i'm 23, been driving since i was 16, got my full, un restricted license when i was 18, had a vehicle insured under my name since i was 17ish...

that's for your f-150? this blows... my brother pays like 70$ a month for his sierra, and another friend of mine (who is like 40) pays like 200 a month, for 4 cars and his house!

Yeah, I've only been driving for 3 years though and I've only had my own insurance for 3 months. It will go down again in January once my ticket comes off.

At least it will be cheaper for us when we convert to your health insurance system.

Honey Comb Grille would be about $60-75 shipped off of here, a fog light I'm gonna say $35, and the slim bumper, I dunno. I'm going to be selling my mint chrome 04 4x4 bumper and fogs when my 08 bumper gets painted. I'm planning on asking $150 for the complete setup so you can use that to compare to.
