at the time i was too pissed to even think of using the credit card because i would jsut buy more crap since my limit is pretty high for a 19yr old. im just going to order the wheels and put the card back away!

My BFG All Terrains have also picked up many nails in their time. Roofing nails are a joke. They don't penatrate into the tire, the rubber blocks are too deep for them. I've pulled many out without getting a flat or repair.
Word of advise, get BFG All Terrains......nail proof. LOL This is my second set and I;ve never had a flat in the 5 1/2 years owning the Ranger.
You seriously got screwed by the tire shop. But as someone else stated.....sh*t happens.

Not surprised with the "blame the other guy" comment though. Typical these days for people to just sue one another. Pathetic.
What's you limit at?? The banks don't care what they give you. They'll give you a $50,000 limit. They know that if you spend it, they'll make sure they get it all back......even if it takes you years. They have no problems making sure your credit score goes to the sh*tter.
Carry a 12 V portable air compressor, some tire plugs and repair kit, and a good pair of pliers - it shouldn't cost you very much - great addition to any emergency kit, and it'll get you out some tight spots.
I've had to to do about 4-5 of those types of repairs to the Ranger's tires in the 6 years I've had it - stuff's more than paid for itself.

There's also a tire inflator and repair product available in an aerosol can that fills your tire with some kind of gunk that is supposed to seal any leaks while simultaneously inflating your tire.
I've never used the product and have heard the gunk in the can isn't all that good - e.g. it may imbalance the tire, or that the coatingis not a permanent repair - but it still beats hazarding a tire change at the side of a busy highway, for example.

so i was pulling into lowes and there was a bulldozer blocking the enterance because they are building a new Texas Roadhouse right in front of the lowes so everybody pulling in is told to go around....im going around i park and i hear a slow hiss coming from my truck and i just ignore it thinking its my exhaust since i just drove through a puddle in the parking lot.....i come outside and see my rear right tire getting low on air....get closer to the truck and still hear the hiss so now i know its the damn tire...must have run something over through that construction site....went to a local tire place and they say that there are three nails and that they are too deep to for the tire to be repaired so i had to get a new tire down the street, lowering my funds for wheels i was going to get.
since my funds have been reduced cuz of buying a new tire, i am going to get the 15x8 cragars with 4" B/S instead of the 15x10s or the 15x8 AR CIIs.
with the 33s, will the tires stick out at least to the flares or maybe a bit further with the 15x8s?
very pissed off i had to get a new tire
