Incredibly low gas milage
I used to be able to drive my truck to school, work, and back home, plus around town for a bit after school somedays, and a tank of gas would last me about a week (town is only 8 minute drive)
I took the truck out this week, from a half a tank, I put 160km on it, and it's already sitting on empty. Is this just because of the winter, or could there be a tear in the fuel line or something, cause it never used to be this bad.

it might be "bad" gas. i had this same thing about a month ago..... a tank only last 180 miles, and my next tank was 160 miles, and i wasnt doing anything to make it go down.... but after a couple fill ups it cam back to 260miles where it should be. tho this last tank lasted 320 miles cause it was all highway

160 kilometers = 99.419 miles
http://www.onlineconversion.com/ <-- good site. I'm used to Kilometers from Living across the pond. The metric system is nice, however its not accurate at all when it comes to ' fine ' tuning items.
The theory of winter elements and the ' type of gas ' or ' quality ' of the fuel being used should be put into the equasion as well. With the season changing, who knows what they are putting in the pumps.
I used Sunoco 104 this past weekend driving to Rochester I pulled 210 miles to the tank which seems about ' average ' for my vehical ( 16 gallon tank , 13mpg on the highway, 9-10mpg in the city ). With 91/93 I will average a lil bit more.

One of the most beneficial things you can do is to run injector cleaner often, and preferably to run Ethanol as much as possible. Keeping the MAF clean helps, and a lazy o2 sensor can play with mileage. Low quality fuel can play a major role, but octane rating really isn't the thing you need to know, and premium will not give you more power nor will it increase mileage unless pre-detonation is an issue. Have you noticed any power loss?
