well here's the thing. people dont usually fill up every day, let's say on any given day theres a 50/50 chance any given person stops anyway. so half the population does this every day. sure some people stop every day, but most dont, i think 50/50 is being generous. in reality, i'd say less than 30% of anyone who buys gas does so on any given day.

i like the idea its too bad nobody ever goes with it, i'll do it just for the hell of it, but if everybody on face book in America actually did that then i actually might make a difference, but people love their gas

That's the year I started driving, and it was actually at $.98 a gallon at the local station. I can't believe I ever payed that little for gas.

I remember in early 2000s it was 1.25 so 1.50 in 97 would be a little high. In Ohio at least.

because two weeks to plan something this "large" isn't enough time. if they wanted to do it properly, vista and others are right. the next day the price will just jump up. you'd have to prepare ahead to screw them make sure your tanks are full a day or two ahead so on the 15th your not buying gas and have no need for another day or two. thus becoming a 2 or 3 day boycott.

supply and demand. they're not ordering you to buy gas.
