Engine Swap

I have a 1996 Ford Ranger with a 4.0L V6 in it... I've been wanting to put a 2014 Coyote 5.0L in it, but wasn't sure how it would fit. I've seen people that have done it but wasn't sure if I would have to cut part of the engine bay to fit it. Also, what parts do I need to change? Can the stock coyote headers fit in, or will I have to make those custom, Will my Ranger Diff and Driveshaft be able to handle the extra power, and if not what do you guys suggest I change it to? Any info helps... Just trying to weed out a few of the problems before I get started.
Thanks

No, it won't fit and yes there will be cutting

Size comparison seen here: https://www.onallcylinders.com/2018/...al-dimensions/

The 302 V8 is the most common Ranger V8 swap and it barely fits at 18.75 inches wide and 20.75 inches tall
Coyote is 28 inches wide, and 27 inches tall

So get your tape measure out and have a look

The steering shaft in engine bay is a big deal, on engineering to move it over and relocate steering box
Heater box, well who needs a heater and AC in Calif, lol
The exhaust would be outside the frame rails

Body lift can get you the height needed, but it will be sitting pretty high up, so you will need frame work to lower engine down if you don't want the "high rider" look

You would need some deep pockets
Also $$$ for the Calif inspection process to get it approved as "road worthy", need that before it can be smogged, and custom vehicle smog approval can be tedious, keep all the documents for where the engine came from
