Does anyone have any information on an explorer 5.0 swap on a 2wd ranger with coil spring suspension?
The PCM went bad on my truck and I really don't want to spend $1,200 on a 2.3l

 

1983 to 2011 2WD used coil springs up front, only exceptions were EDGE model 2WD 2001-2005, SPORT model 2006-2009, and I think the Trailhead model all used torsion bars instead of coil springs

1998 and up 4x4s all used torsion bar

PCMs are not that expensive, only the PATS programming can be expensive being Dealer only, until now......
