EXPLORER ENGINE COVER
I dont know exactly where i should post this but I think I have seen a how to on modifing a 99-03 4.0 explorer engine cover to fit on the ranger 4.0 sohc. but i cant find it anywhere now. anybody know what Im talking bout or am i on crack and dreamed this?lol thanks
I did one of the first ones--I don't think I have a How-To on R-F though--It might still be on FRF. You'll need to do a little bit of trimming and fab-up some brackets--kinda fiddly work, but very simple and well worth it.
Here are my brackets--the front 2 use the mounting points for your original cover (on the throttle body); the back 2 use a couple of the intake manifold bolts-you'll need to look closely, 'cause I painted the back brackets with bedliner to help them "disappear".
