Failed Inspection - '99 Mazda B4000
Hey guys, looking for some advice and direction. The truck just failed inspection due to the following : park brake adjusters need to be replaced (simple), exhaust is broken off after the muffler (not surprised, she's been running loud lately), and the biggest cause for concern - a rusted out frame crossmember.
Now most of you veteran guys that have been around for awhile remember my rotted out frame thread, and how I got a new frame section from wvcat to keep the truck on the road. This is the latest problem I have with the structure of the truck. She has 173,700 on the odometer, runs like a beauty, stops on a dime, and is my first and only vehicle since I was 16yrs old, I'm 22 now. I'm having difficulty even considering driving another vehicle, but this might be the final straw with this truck.
I'm looking for advice, direction, ideas...anything. I'm in the middle of trying to find a place to live as well, I don't need the truck to hold me back with that. I just graduated and am starting my first real job on Monday, so I have a lot on my plate.
Do I sell it for what it's worth? Scrap it? Lease another vehicle? Buy a used one?
I'm lost, I've never been through this before, being on my own financially now.
Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Drive without an inspection, I saw a Honda CRX the other day rolling a June 2007 sticker. I bet you can drive two years before anyone will even notice. Mine throws so many codes I gave up and just drive it.
My fiance does that and always ends up with a $125 ticket for it lol
Update.
The crossmember had two nickel sized rust holes in it, in one centralized area. Rest of the crossmember had surface rust that I brushed off and was solid all the way around. Had it plated on both sides for $60 then sprayed some undercoating on it.
Truck is getting a Flowmaster 50 series muffler on Saturday with the pipe exiting in front of the right rear tire, then getting inspected on Monday.

This is why I love living in the south. No inspection at all and you can do damn well whatever you want to a vehicle. Glad to hear you fixed it. As long as it isn't something serious, fixing it is usually the best thing to do.
