Does this look like a good deal? I know the red is ugly id paint it black fast but what do you guys think? can the 3.0 v6 push 35s? [without a hard strain]

looks like a great deal to me. I would try and find a 4.0 though if you want to run 35"s

ive been looking and there doesnt seem to be a single 4.0 4wd for sale in my damn city really makes me mad :( but dont you think with a gear change that the 3.0 could push 35s :(

I don't know its a 3.0L with a rusted out tail gate. I would only buy a 4.0L if i were too buy another ranger. but ya its a good deal i guess

yeah. don't deal with anything rusted/corroded. i already have been through a cracked frame (at the rear shock mount).

I would go look at it and see what the rest of the truck looks like for rust. If its not bad then I'd go for it. The tail must have a bad leak letting water inside of or something.
I know my tail has some rust on the bottom of it. Not that bad though

Yea they have manual 4.0's. That truck seems to be a great deal, but there could be something wrong with it.

Looks nice except that tail... I'd just get a new one though... don't waste your time getting rid of the rust... if you're going to re-paint the truck may as well go to a j/y and get another gate
