You should probably not be driving like an idiot while the truck is registered to someone other than you, which it is at the moment. And presumably it is insured to someone else as well concidering it is registered to someone else. Not to mention the whole killing yourself and others routine. Maybe you haven't been reading the news around here lately?

ya but its not like im dragging at like 140 mph were doin like 95-110 before they chicken out and plus im racing other stock cars and trucks with smaller engines than mine so i win everytime

Far enough away that it is unlikely you will kill me in the process of killing yourself or someone else. I'll have to keep an ear out to TPD though. When I hear them run 3CR853 and give the operator a summons, I'll probably laugh out loud a little.
You should stop worrying about speed mods for your pickup truck and find something useful to spend your money on while you learn how to drive a bit more.

i got 1996 V6 3L with one engine mod (mass air flow sensor),a new grille, new head unit, 4 new speakers,but now im thinking bout the engine and what can be done. im not doing a cold air intake cause its too much of a hassle for my truck and its not worth it. i was thinking a TBS but im hearing they suck, now im thinking new headers, but they seem impossible to find, the ones i did find were like $650, but the 4L ones were like $275, which pisses me off.
one of my boys told me i should do titanium pistons and rings, which i know nothing about.
Do you know what Titanium costs? Let alone the cost for 6 pistons?!?! All 6 of which a Machine shop would have to custom mill?

Your lugging around a Stereo and a full interior. If you were serious about going fast, you would put the ' pig ' ( Thats what I call my truck ) on a Diet. Its a legendary calculation that every 100lbs = 0.010 of a second in a Quarter mile. Its not far from the truth. Fast vehicles are usually light and nimble. Horsepower and Torque mean nothing when carting around extra weight.
If your going to go Fast, remember you need to eventually STOP! This means you don't want ' rimz and bling dawg ', you want a light weight wheel with a decent tire that will carry less inertia or reciprocating mass.
There has been only 1 3.0L Vulcan equipped truck I have ever seen worth mentioning. It was fully machined, has a Wet Nitrous setup and the guy was sponsored by Rick Morana racing.
Let me tell you! It was soooooo fast, it just about caught a STOCK 4.0Sohc equipped Ranger.
Build a 302 if you want to go fast or if you have a really stuffed wallet, you can waste your time like Nick and Myself did blowing up engines, superchargers, Manifolds.. I think Nick is presently screwing around with a Turbo of some sorts..
V6's are TOYS, the ones made by ford shouldn't be taken seriously.

For starters, you're driving a Ranger. Come on, kid. Are you expecting to be able to race that tuned out supra with a ****ing pickup truck with headers?
Then, you act like you aren't even concerned about the safety of others, saying you don't drive fast enough to kill anybody (basically). At any speed, you can kill somebody who may be walking down the road because their car went into the ditch when they were swerving to miss a deer (I've seen it happen), or a person taking a walk that may live on the road.
My advice: Go **** yourself.

Headers will net you some more horsepower if you also go with a more free flowing exhaust (whether you replace the cat converter or just completely get rid of it is up to you, although, that could be illegal in your state).
Why waste money on a Ranger to make it go faster if you plan on lifting it?
I can already see the next thread: "How can I get better gas mileage out of my lifted and heavily modified street racing bad *** Ranger, fo shizzle?".
The thread will start with what mods you have done, and how your gas mileage has suffered quite a bit.
Some will reply saying you need to change your driving habits.
Then you will say something about how your "boys" told you to go with some titanium gas lines, as they net you better fuel economy, and more speed.
