Few weird issues with the truck

For starters. It seems everytime I remote start the truck my pioneer double din won't recognize my iPod. But if I shut it down and restart with the key it's fine. Only started doing this recently.

Also when I use my turn signal at night when it automatically clicks off after turning it'll make the headlights flicker off for a split second. But it doesn't happen each time. Also tonight when going over a speed bump at school I hit it a bit too fast and the lights did the same flicker on then back off. Any ideas?

Its because you dont have sliders.

Go re-tighten everything I guess.

I'm hoping it's that simple. The fact that it happens with the blinkers makes me nervous though.

Cuz if it's related to something in the steering column I really don't wanna deal with it. Lol

After me and my buddy swapped it out in my 04. It's really not that scary to pull it apart.

Okayyyy. Got outta class. Got some gas. Hit a Minor Bump getting on the highway. Lights start flickering on and off. Wtfff. Eff with it a little and now the lights don't even work. BUT when I use the brights they work. And as it currently sits they work on hi or lo. Normally they would Just shut off when I'd use the brights. I still have the ddm tuning hi lo harness from before when I had hids in stock capsules. I have another harness. I'm thinking it's something with the harness.

I would put the stock bulbs in first (if you even can with the projo's) and see if it still does it. Always a good idea to factor out the mods when **** goes wrong.

As far as the deck goes, I hate to say it, but try factory reset. (write down all your settings) and see if that doesnt fix it.

The other possibility is (if they're not separate issues) a bad ground somewhere... but the odds of it effecting both, without everything, is highly unlikely.

If it's ALL of your lights (interior and exterior) there is a good chance that you have a ground shorting out somewhere.

Last week I was having some electrical problems too. When hit my brakes my parking lights would turn on and my turn signals wouldn't work if my lights were on, but if my lights were off and I turn on a turn signal everything would flash including all the lights in my cab... The cause was one of my led tails, the chip inside one got fried and I know I have the same tails as you, so try checking that maybe.

Have you checked the connections yet? Could it be the low setting of the headlights just came disconnected from the harness?

I'd say that first. if it happens when you hit a bump, sounds like bad ground or loose connection.

well i got a chance to look at it this morning. put stock bulbs on the plugs and they worked fine. then looked closer at the 9007 adapter and realized the pins had somehow backed out a bit. pushed them in and tried again and it seems to be working just fine! i'll see tonight if everything is good for sure.
