time for new brakes???
pretty sure my brakes are like metal on metal lol they are grinding really bad, its quite loud even from inside the truck. the only thing is the other day i slammed on my brakes to miss a deer. i think they were bad to begin with but that prolly did most of it. didnt start makin noise till after that. soooo do i just need new pads then?

i hope u didnt buy the lifetime warrenty $19.95 brake pads because u will be doing this again in the next 6 months. we only put cheap brakes on a vehicle if we know it is going to be retired soon.

x2 and resurfacing a rotor is almost as bad as keeping worn rotors on. removing any material from a rotor face makes it disappate heat less and makes it prone to warping. its just a way for shops to make money now, before when rotors werent made in china and of actual quality turning a rotor a little wouldnt hurt it like the ones today...plus rotors are so cheap now it is silly not to replace them.
