I replaced the heads on my 1999 ranger, gotm new head bolts $40,but my son broke 3 exhaust bolts,so I said we will just get new $120 for 12 bolts and nuts!!why?
I dont care if I pay 50 or 60 but 120 no way. can anyone help me?
bolts go where the exhaust meet the heads,1999 ranger xlt 4x4 4.0
melow now.is it the dealer or is ford just nuts.the dealership has tryed to screw me on a excape a 05 with 38000 miles 15850 and I found a 07 with 29000 for16300.they would not come down and told me that I was crazy to drive 250 miles for $2000.I told them that I would do that all day for $2000.

If they are the same as my 2001 4.0 I can get my old ones for you. I have the block and heads in my garage, could pull them tonight and mail them off if you don't mind reusing old ones.

pm wvcat, he can probably help ya, here is his profile:

Ford Ranger Forum - The Ultimate Ford Ranger Resource - View Profile: wvcat

He had restored like 22 Rangers, and literally has lots of Ranger parts, he should have these bolts just laying around if the ones buckgnarly have dont work.

I don't know if they would be the same as they are different engines
