Help me out with selling price of ranger

Hey guys! Been on and off here since about 2004, learned a lot and turned my ranger into a truck I love. But its finally time to do the fullsize mod. Staying in the family with an F-150.

How high of a price have you seen rangers sell for privately. I am not in a rush to sell, so I thought I would high-ball for a month or two and see what happens. Nothing to lose I guess.

Truck Specs: 2004 Ford Ranger Edge 4.0 L with 120,000 miles (has 117,000 now)
Mods: Tuner (87 and 91), flowmaster exhaust, 1400 watt RMS sounds system (aftermarket speakers, HU, subwoofer and amps), custom painted interior, tinted windows, snugtop tonneau cover (Brand new, thanks warranty), 150W KC lights, bilstein shocks, aftermarket wheels with 32" BFGs (85% tread), turn signal mirrors, mustang dome light and buggman LED extrior/interior lights

I know mods don't matter much, but maybe some teenager will bite.

KBB Private Price (good condition): $7,090
KBB Dealer (good condition):$5,566

The truck is in absolutely perfect mechanical shape and great cosmetic shape. All maintenance done by the book, no major problems. Truck runs great, no problems at all.

I'm thinking of listing for $8,500 and maybe taking no less than $7,500

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion and success/failure stories. Is this price too high/too low?

Thanks for everything guys, this has been an amazing site over the years.

Kelly Blue Book(KBB) is for dealers and insurance companies.

Your local Craigslist would be the place to see "asking prices" for similar vehicles
Local Truck Trader as well.

Local being the key word, prices very widely by area.

Asking price is not "selling price", as always the Buyer sets the actual value of anything.

When you find similar vehicles, email the seller to see if it sold and for how much, many will respond, some won't, it is free to ask, lol.

That is one nice Ranger, should sell for a good price.
