FX4 Fender Flares

Hello, and greetings to all. First time Ranger owner and first time poster. I did a search and couldn't really find an answer. I have a 2010 Ford Ranger Sport Super-cab 4x4 with the FX4 pkg. For me, I would like to remove the fender flares. I don't plan on any big tires, maybe slightly bigger but not enough tire to fill out the flare to make it look good. When I was messing with them I noticed that there were multiple holes in the metal behind the flares (not sure why Ford did this, most flares are clip on etc...) If anyone is interested I can sell you these flares cheap. What options do I have to take care of these holes? Bondo/sand/repaint? Any other flares out there that are smaller and less wide that will cover up these holes?

Thanks!!!

Got any pics of said flares? It'd probably help to start a thread in the classifieds section.

There are a few companies out there that make aftermarket flares if you want to use those to cover the holes.

Did you have any luck filling those holes? I'm about to pull mine off too. 2010 4X4 Sport... The Edge flares (body color) are the only ones (IMHO) that look good. The Sport trim with the big fake bolts look so weird on these trucks. Too wide, too much plastic etc...

Let me know how it all worked out.

Take care.

Im interested in your flares if they're still available. Do you have pictures, are they textured or painted, pocket style with the bolt holes or smooth, and how much? Thanks!
