yeah.. the best, BEST i've gotten was driving up to San Francisco (6 hour drive) and i was driving an average of 80, 85. Got 17.8. I think i could've upped it a bit if i drove at 75, 80 more. But i do average 14, 15. Actually, doing 16 a lot more now.
Oh yeah.. 2004 3.0 4.10 2wd store 28" tires

I was getting about 15 MPG in the city in my old 2003 3.0L Regular cab, manual 4.10. The best I got was 18.7 MPG on the highway. That was with Gibson Cat-back, and the MAF mod, which in all fairness probably was why my gas milage sucked. About 210 miles per tank.
Now in my 2004 4.0l super cab auto, 3.55, my milage still sucks. I get 16.2 MPG in the city and best highway was 19.04 MPG. I now can travel about 260-285 miles per tank. So I get better gas milage, and I get there quicker too! Still breaking it in with 7,000 miles on the clock.
