Ok, so I am TOTALLY torn guys.. I really want an F150, But i DO NOT really want to get rid of the Ranger.. I havnt done anything new with the truck in a while, and i cant think of alot of stuff..

Soo.. Give me some ideas! I have been thinking of painting the Flares Black, and possibly going with some sort of two tone like the FX4's, but not sure if i want to go black or camo..

Interior is COMPLETLY stock.. I really would like to do something with the interior, just dont know what..

 

Lockers. IMO ditch the rollbar and brush gaurd.

 

haha this is my DD, so lockers are pretty much out of the question unfortunatly.. LS in the rear when i get back to the states though..

I have been thinking about loosing the roll bar as well, but wouldnt have anywhere to put the lights.. Have thought about getting a roof rack possibly?

 

The cattle gaurd stays until I can get a custom bumper.. I want one of the Sea bass ones! lol

 

is a posi rear end different from a L/S??? if they are different jus get a posi so it can be you DD and lock for you... also the new trucks that have a the locking rear are still DD trucks. sorry im not too hip on lockers and stuff

 

Posi is a brand name.. I do believe from Chevy? maybe ford, not 100% sure.. And the newer trucks that have Lockers in them, they are selectale.. In other words you flip a switch and it locks, flip it again, it unlocks..

 

I DD'd my ranger for close to 2 years with lockers front and rear.

 

well my dad has a 09 silverade z71 2wd with posi in the back. when he tried to climb a loose dirt hill he didnt make it but both rear tires spun... is that a lsd??

Man, your truck is sick!!!! I have a 97' Ranger and i am about to Pro Comp 5" it and i want mine to look like yours dude. In my opinion put the tires back on it and drive it out!!! hahaha

ohhhh ok... so if you get a locker you cant really use it as a DD... cut i wanna get a locker for my truck but it is my DD. is there anything wrong with haveing one of those lock rites or something similar on a DD

 

when you have a full time locker, your rear-end will skip when you turn on pavement..

 

its only cosmetic, but why not do a 01+ front end clip, fenders, and a powerdome....make the truck look completely different....
also i dont know if you have rubber floors, but i love mine it would definetely change your interior a lot

Honestly I couldnt tell you exactly, but junkyards are the best bet to find the stuff cheap....you could probably get a powerdome for around $100-150, fenders i would definetely try to find in a junkyard that are already white but here are some online not too expensive...

I am by no means an expert of how to do this kind of thing, but ive heard of it being done relatively easily i think if you looked around enough you could find all the parts for about $500 or cheaper

you thought ou makin one yourself??? i dont imaging it being too hard if you use plactic tubing of some sort and it might be a fun project. use a dremel or something to cut the hole and put a rubber trim on the cut to make it look clean. maybe a fun project and it would be interesting to start a projest log or how to

 

ohc? get some leds inside, just got my dome lights in, man thats so much better, just ordered the bulbs for the ohc now. otherwise get some new seats/audio

a 2 tone would look great on it and a powerdome. the 01 front end i wouldnt bother if ur thnking of a custom bumper thow.... and start over that...

and it still not in love again just sas it.... seems to be the trend on this site...

 

i seen a stock white ranger yesterday with the 2 tone thing it was camo on the bottom half, the fender flares was also camo, but with it done your truck it would look sweet i say go for it

The snorkle, i will probably do myself, he is just looking into it and will give me a good design/cost.
