YAYYYYY!!! Figured it out! Had to take a different approach to it. But you can kinda get the idea from the pics. There is a flair at the beginning, which is on the passenger side of my grill. The tubing then turns, and finally makes another turn (which cant really be seen) towards the airbox. Ingenious, I know.

 

And also, if you cant quite figure out where everythings at, in the second pic, the horn is the black circular piece. my grill is just to the left, and its wedged in between my grill and radiator support

And it does "seem" like the passing gear is better but its probably more in my head. As for mpg, I havent filled up since I installed it yet
