I second what Nate said, there will be none until you have to replace any u-joints, suspension or steering parts.

If and when you have grease fittings, that Ford in its infinite wisdom chose to leave out, grease them every two to three month and if a 4x, after every hard off road trip to help keep the water out.

I have a 2008 FX4 and it has no grease fittings from the factory. One of the service guys at the dealership I usually go to, even told me the front wheel bearings are sealed and you can't repack the factory ones.

Might be because it's cheaper to manufacture them without? A couple cents per part would make a big difference over a few hundred thousand vehicles!

I think it is mainly due to most people wanting maintenance free or low maintenance vehicles. They do pretty well also. I have over 150,000 miles on my Ranger and have not had to replace any of those items. I know the front ball joints are getting near needing replacement. They just started squeaking a little under certain conditions but are still tight.
