Actually, it does look like one -- only as a "1 piece" part instead of 3 pieces. This is a crappy picture, but the first one I could lay my hands on, but the normal overlays are 3 pieces. This is from my original Gen-Edge how-to on changing dash color using glass paint.

I guess you're SURE there's no way it could fit? If you used it, you'd want to peel the overlay off the auto tranny block in your existing dash probably. Don't know. Here's the standard Ranger overlays from the front side -- not a good picture, but I can't find a better one at the moment.

The turn signals are in the wrong place, the indicators for 4wd are on the wrong side, our gauge face is 3 separate pieces, just to name a few differences. Not to be an ***, but how did you mistake that gauge face for the one in your truck?

That looks like it could be an older Ranger gauge face, maybe. But the gauges are the same through all the Rangers and some Explorers, except for maybe the lack of a tach.

The how-to should be on his cardomain page, which he shamelessly plugs everywhere:) EDIT: Well the old how-to he had linked on his page is gone, the how-to was not carried over to the new site, hopefully its not lost.

I'd sell you mine, if I hadn't torn it to shreds. Someone probably has one for sale and you can probably put that one back on Ebay when you figure out what truck it goes to.

It looks real similar to a Ranger dash but I have never seen one like that before, I suppose it was just unlucky. Did the site not say what it fit?

While on this topic does anyone know of a gauge overlay that is made for standards? I hate having the Automatic gear opening in the bottom of it. It looks so silly... or does anyone know of a way to put an overlay across it or anything? thanks...

Probably "gone" from Gen-Edge. They were being re-edited to a new format by SoundPer4mance (Bob) but he's behind on them. I'll have to see if I still have it and post it on my CarDomain site. I'll post when I have it done. Sorry, I thought it was still over there.

I would email who you got them from and tell him they are not for a ranger (they might have screwed up)

I found my original how-to text and photo's. I'm working on a Cardomain page for this now. My gauges look like this:

Gauges are red, blue highlights and auxillary switches, all warning indicators have been made yellow. Cost me $8.00 using the method of the how-to to do the gauges.
