your honor, i object... Hearsay... i said Hearsay...

the ranger is going to be here in 2011 and 2012

why would for stop making the ranger. i think it's like the 2nd most sold small truck in the US. they might come up with a new gen. but i don't think they are going to stop making it.

Needs larger tires!!! But I guess since it has a lower kit on it, it SHOULD be a street truck. LOL

Well obviously we are waiting on the official word from HQ... I heard it would be dropped in 11 and brought back more like the sport track in 2012?

I read a Ford article stating ranger sales were up 17% Dec 09 in comparison to Dec 08, but were down about 16% from fiscal yr 2009 in comparsion with 2008

This is and always will be the stupidest statement ever posted on the internet.

Playstation? Toss it. TV? Toss it. Most of the other crap in your house? Toss it. Buy American only and what do you have left? Not much. I live in America so I have the right to choose what I want to spend my money on.

Why don't you go look at the percentage of parts in the new Rangers that are made overseas now. Buying American is not what it used to be.

I talked to friend's at ford HQ they said they will not drop the ranger in 2011 if sale's stay up.
and when you buy American made car's and truck's the money stay's here not like when you buy JAP car's the money goes back over sea's.

^^^^The money stays here too. Japanese auto makers build their cars here and employ many Americans. Those Americans live in American so the money is staying here. Again if you buy electronics they go ahead and dump them because they probably came for overseas or they company HQ is overseas. Wake up to 2010 not the 50s.

yes... but more stuff we buy overseas... the less jobs we have here... even if you buy a new ford it's made overseas... i know of one way to stop it... put one hell of a tax on outsourcing...

"made in the USA" is a big thing. but the way they word there stuff it doesn't mean ****. most US car manufacturers say they are made in the US... but look closer. NOT TRUE. only some of the car is made in the US.

if this keeps going... i feel sorry for our grand-kids... they will be living in a 3rd word country... do the math and if i'm wrong, show me the math. what is replacing the manufacturing jobs here in the US?

Nothing is made 100% anywhere anymore, in case none of you have noticed. It's called globalization...

It doesn't matter to me, I like my truck, I'm gonna keep it.

I'd rather buy 70's model Fords anyway, I already have two and love them.

The only Fords I like are the RS Escort, RS200 and the current ranger (because it has been out forever and has 90's styling, easy to modify, simple technology)

If I bought another truck after the current model stopped it would be the xrunner because its the closest thing to a compact tuner truck that I can find. It would probably have a 2JZ in a matter of months anyways, so what the hell.
