I recently changed my headlamps (assemblies) on the driver’s and passenger sides of my 01. The previous ones worked fine, they were just really cloudy and faded. The problem is that the drivers side doesn’t come on until I put on my high beams, and even then it is on the low beam, the passenger side stays bright like it’s on the high beam always? I haven’t changed ANY wiring, I simply unplugged the old lights and plugged the new ones in and installed the headlamps? I am thinking that I bought bad headlamps?

Did you try an old bulb?

Should be 9007 bulb number for 2001 Ranger
