Let me know what you guys (and gals) think of this. I hope I have made it as complete as I can. The Body Protection section is all from James Duff. I have a few slots that are empty. If anyone can point me into the right direction as to where to fill them in, that would be great! Enjoy. Oh, and I will be adding my off road lights to it soon. And yes, I know.... she is a 2WD, BUT she will be a beast of a 2WD!
I would suggest saving your money and getting a '02 Fx4 or an '03 L2. Or just saving up for the '09/'10 ranger redesign.
You should be able to get a couple grand for your 4 cyl, 2wd pick up as it should get decent mpg.

I see you're taking Grewe's approach to adding up prices.
First off, you probably dont need a new alt/battery. And you can definately find both for cheap.
A skyjacker 6 inch for 2K? You shouldnt pay that much to lift your truck.
Also, its a 2wd, skip the detroit and just go for looks.
You can pick up tires for as long as 600 shipped for 4 35 inch tires.
For wheels go with cragar soft 8s, 40$ each = 160$ total.
Definately upgrade rar end to 8.8
Don't get a winch bumper, especially for $500.
prices for repair panels are fine, you should see if theres a "certi fit" shop near you, where youc an buy the panels.
Also, for the hood hinges, get em for 10 bucks from a junkyard.
That's any improvements i can think of. Just go for the looks of a lifted truck(and the front end update would be sweet) because 2wd you wont offroad nearly as well as a 4wd. Just go big and lifted and hope the chicks dig it. Plus I know you're near the beach, and you'll get stuck in the sand.

Save your money and get a trail rig :-)
My samurai cost half of what your 6" suspension lift cost and it really holds its own. And I don't have to worry about bashing up my daily driver off-road either.

NV4500 4x4 Tranny Swap out
Ok, so here is my new question regarding my truck.
We all know that you can fabricate ANYTHING, but how well will a NV4500 4x4 manual tranny bolt up to the 4.0L with AS LITTLE FABRICATION AS POSSIBLE. Anyone done this yet?
