hope frame is not bad

Hey all,

I'm gonna post photos of it in a few minutes, but I recently had an accident that damaged the frame "bar" just behind the bumper. My 2001 Edge Plus 4x4 Super Cab. Opinions needed from you experienced guys, stay tuned. Thanks!!!

Photos are great but won't help.

Frames up front are not just bent from the impact, they can also get "tweaked" from the mass of the engine and trans suddenly coming to a stop, mounts are not designed for that.

So alignment shop would be next stop if vehicle is driveable.
They can check the frame

Inertia switch may have been tripped, reset it if needed but replace it long term if it did trip

I looked closer still at it today. The left rail is bent, dimpled in right in line with the main sway bar rubber mount. I'm thinking it can still be aligned, but yes I'll go to the alignment shop. That was something I was gonna do before the accident. I have all new ball joints, shocks, complete tie rods, and sway bar links to throw in first. I can also see the driver fender to hood spacing has closed up some, so that's indicative of what I just saw. The rail tweak, and thus a rad support shift. She's a tough cookie though. Still drives like a champ!

Camber is definitely way out and probably caster on left side.
