Horn Mod Pictures

Alright well this is the update to the horn mod thread that i made a while ago.
Original Thread
https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=69526

Alright to get it this far in my pictures your going to need take off the original horns and pull the wiring harness up so it comes threw the passenger headlight hole in front of the air box. The you’re going to need to clip off the wiring harness
What you’ll need to start
-4 Horns
-4 wiring harness
-Recommend taking the bolts also
-Extra Wire
-Red splice Connectors
-Purple Jump Connectors

Original Harness
Purple = Power
Black = Ground
Caddie Harness
Green = Power
Black = Ground

To get it this far in the pictures you’re going 2 add one of the pig tails to the stock horn wiring. Make sure its long enough 2 reach below the support for the air box, because that’s where you’re be bolting it down.

To connect the second horn wiring harness you’re going to use a purple splice connector take it to the power side of the wires and clip down the connector. For a ground u you’re going to pull one of the bolts up from the airbox bracket and the wire under it n bolt it down nice and tight

This is where the 2 horns will be mounted after you’re finished with the wiring on the passenger side.

Once you’re that far test the horns out 2 make sure they work.

eah Ramsey it’s really simple to wire them up. To wire up the other 2 horns just take a Purple jump connect connector and take a power wire across the top of the radiator and do a horn in the same 2 places. I'll have pictures of my driver side today.
