My stupid Question of the week is:

What do you mean recharge it?
and how to do it.

 

the AC system is a closed enviroment. once a leak happens the refridgerant leaves the system. with no refrigerant the Ac system can not work properly and cool the air. u can refill the system or recharge it. unless u fix the leak it'll eventually loose its refrigerant. each system holds a certain amount measured in lbs and ounces.

Amazingly my R-134 unit still blows and was replaced only once in her 11 years!
