Hey guys(and girls)

Im looking at a 99 Ranger XLT 4x4, and it looks pretty good! it has 156xxx miles, 4.0, 5speed. Is their anything that was really wrong with this year? Suspension, electrical, engine stuff? Can u plz give me as much info about them cause all i can find on the internet is the typical specs not acual reviews or comments.

P.S. I had a 97 Ranger but gave it to my little sister for her ranch!

 

We've got a 98 ranger, I think that's the same as a 99. I could be wrong though, but at about 157,000KM everything is holding up.

Lots of electrical crap

The 4x4 vacuum hubs are junk. Most guys switch to warn manual hubs after their vacs break.
