Extended Cab equals just that....an extended cab.

Supercab has the appearance of an extended cab.....yet the rear part of the cab swings open suicide style, thus equaling four doors. Only two of the doors on a Supercab are full size doors. A truck with four "real" doors is generally known as a Crew Cab.

Ford never did. That was a Nissan/Datsun thing.

Ford - Super Cab
Chevy - Extended Cab
GMC - Club Coupe, Extended Cab
Dodge - Club Cab, Quad Cab (4 dr.)
Toyota - Xtra Cab, Access Cab (4 dr.)
Mazda - Cab Plus, Cab Plus 4 (4 dr.)
Nissan - King Cab

Yeah, what they said...

Don't be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one that was never asked... or something like that
