Hello fellow ranger riders
New to the forum
I have a 1995 ranger 4x4
My problem is the interior dome light only works when the truck is running,once I shut it off and remove key the dome light will remain on even after 10 minutes
Has anyone else experienced this problem Thank Rangeroger

I assume there is no manual switch on the light itself?

Also the Dimmer wheel for dash lights has a separate switch inside, when you turn the dimmer wheel all the way UP it will click and turn on the dome light and Cargo light on top rear of cab(if you have that feature, the cargo light)

Other thing, one of the Door Switches could be bad, but there should be a "Door Ajar" light on the dash that comes on when a Door is open, if switch is stuck then dome light will stay on all the time
If "Door Ajar" light bulb is burned out then you may not see it, so open a door and you should see the door ajar light, if not then bulb IS burned out, if it works but dome light doesn't go off when door is close then its not a door switch
